Unfortunately we know many bosses (batrachians) that have people working in their team many years, and people in the team never improve! I don’t know you, but these kinds of situations make me feel sad, and encourage me to wright this article.

 

It’s important to meet our teams, dedicate time to know what they want to do with their professional careers, what they really like about you, and of course what are the things that you could make different if you want to bring a different result.

 

When one focuses on helping and serving others so they grow and develop as individuals, then it is a brutal and very rewarding job because he manages to bring out the best of each person so that in addition to "know" how things, "want to" make them by putting its best efforts in this.

 

Batrachians based leadership is characterized by the control and monitoring, selfishness, rigidity, lack of confidence and mediocrity, feeling like a threat to anyone who might be best that oneself.

 

If you want to know what you team think about it, the answer is so complex, expensive and difficult to found: ask them! They will probably waiting for it!

 

The second thing I is have balance life. Is like the legs of a table. People that I see that have a happiest life are who have balanced 3 aspects: they work to live (not live to work), they spend time in help others (not only ONG’s, there are other informal ways to help people) and the spend time in themselves (developing theirs mind and physical aspects).

The basic requirement that people work well is to be happy. It may seem a little sophisticated or superficial assertion, but it is a truth as a piano.

 

I personally think that our project with capital letters in this life is our family, and in a time of labor standards, we need time to balance our professional life with the staff.

 

Great leaders know it because they are the first to do so and, understanding that work is important but never the most important thing, they generate and promote working environments that help their teams to balance their personal and professional lives.

 

The third most important aspect is make people confident and important. If we make our teams feel important, like the famous phrase of the NASA employer who was cleaning the floor, and Kennedy asked him “What’s your job?” and he said: “Me job consist in help people to arrive to the moon”.

 

Great leaders rely on people, they delegate to them, involve them, ask them, make them participate and achieve its commitment. Have an obsession in discover what are the things that people make really well, cause they know that they have it, and when they find it, help them, motivate them, and require them to rely and put all means to ensure that they have a fantastic performance.

 

And when they reach their aims, they recognize and commend them, because they know that everyone have the desire to do important things. Recognize a job well done in a sincere manner is the largest way of motivation that anyone can receive. Then, that person feels valued, engaged, grateful, and improve its performance, it is a virtuous circle.

 

Probably many times you commented with friends or colleagues about leadership, and if every single person could be converted into a great leader.

I confine myself only to make some reflections on a specific aspect, his attitude.

In my personal experience I had the opportunity to know different kind of leaders, in same case call some bosses leaders is a present! But sometimes I knew some leaders that show me the light!

 

Watching it and thinking I have identified 5 aspects that differentiate the absolutely spectacular leaders of batrachians which are intended to direct people.
